The Country Garden, situated in the heart of the Klein Karoo near Ladismith, offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat at the foot of the Klein Swartberg Mountains. Located off the beaten track in the beautiful Voorbaat Valley, visitors can awaken to stunning sunrises and the sounds of birds and farm life.

The Country Garden provides a relaxing and affordable getaway with an informal, friendly atmosphere in a beautiful private setting, offering an escape from the stresses of modern living. It features direct access to the Klein Swartberg Mountains, with its diverse indigenous flora, as well as a mineral water dam, kloofs to explore, country walks, mountain hikes, and the opportunity to bring mountain bikes and explore the valley.

The guest farm is located 19 km off the famous R62 and 23 km west of Ladismith town in the Western Cape. As a guest farm, visitors have the opportunity to interact directly with various farm animals, including pigs, piglets, sheep, lambs, goats, rabbits, chickens, geese, and often baby animals.

The Country Garden offers four self-catering cottages, with the option of ordering a breakfast basket and braai pack delivered to the cottage (costs available upon request). The farm is a wonderful place for families to reconnect and relax in a peaceful environment. One of the cottages features two bedrooms, sleeping four people, with a queen bed in one room and twin beds in the other. It includes a bathroom with a bath and a separate toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a bar-fridge, microwave, two-plate gas stove, kettle, toaster, and fireplace. The cottage also has a lovely covered stoep and braai facilities.
