The Croft Guest Cottages

The Croft Guest Cottages are situated at the foot of the Amatola Mountains, bordering the Kologha forest. They offer an ideal rural setting for family holidays, peaceful weekends, and overnight stays. The cottages are fully self-contained, each featuring two bedrooms, one of which is located upstairs under the eaves. They have spacious living areas, bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchens.

The cottages are serviced daily, and firewood is provided for the open fireplaces and braais. Specially tailored ramps for disabled access are available upon request. Ample parking space is available next to each cottage. Set on the edge of a grassy meadow with stunning views of the mountain panorama, the cottages provide the perfect accommodation in Stutterheim. Guests can enjoy summer evenings admiring the view from the patio or spend winter nights in front of the lovely log fireplace.

Nearby attractions include serene dams offering excellent trout angling and bass fishing, as well as a local country club where guests can play a round of golf or a game of tennis. The cottages are privately and peacefully situated on a small holding with views of the Xhologha Forest and Amatola foothills. Log fireplaces, absolute privacy, and a relaxing atmosphere without disturbances from others are provided.

The magnificent Stutt Country Golf Course, a 9-hole course with magnificent views, is located 5 km from the cottages. The small holding (7 km off the N6) offers a farm-like feel with cows and chickens. A swimming pool is available on-site, and the stunning area provides opportunities for walking, cycling, and running. Forest trails are just a 10-minute walk away. Children particularly enjoy the upstairs loft bedrooms and the stunning views.

Crane and Loerie are two cottages situated next to each other, each with its own enclosed garden and a farm-like view with a mountain backdrop. Crane comprises a bedroom with a double bed (electric blanket) and an open-plan fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, stove with oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and sink. The unit also has its own bathroom, heater, fan, WiFi, and Hospitality DSTV.
