The Falls Backpackers & Adventures

The Falls Backpackers & Adventures provides accommodation and adventure activities near Maclear. It is situated on a farm along the banks of the Tsitsa River. The establishment features an old farmhouse with spacious rooms, a self-catering kitchen, a lounge area, a bar, and an entertainment area.

The backpackers offers home-cooked organic meals and a selection of 14 different adventure activities. These activities include a zipline across the Tsitsa Gorge, abseiling down a 28-meter waterfall, kayaking on white water rivers, hiking in ancient mountains and indigenous forests, fly fishing for trout in clear rivers, and biking.

Upon arrival, guests are given a tour of the farm and surroundings. In the evenings, braais (barbecues) are held in an African kraal near the Tsitsa Falls, where visitors can enjoy the views and sunsets. The backpackers aims to provide an unforgettable experience for guests, encouraging them to feel at home and leave with a warm feeling.

The backpackers employs professional and qualified guides to ensure that guests have a memorable and safe experience during the adventure activities. The dormitory rooms each have six single beds and an en-suite bathroom.
