The Farmhouse/Die Plaashuis is a guesthouse that prides itself on affordability, focusing mainly on the local South African tourist and business sector. It is located in an upmarket area but offers a budget facility to make it affordable for all. The guesthouse is frequented by representatives, company workmen, and families, and is often used as a one-night stop for groups. It provides SMART and STANDARD TV, FULL FIBRE WI-FI, microwaves, fridges, and kettles in all units, with some units offering additional amenities.

Prices quoted exclude breakfast, but meals can be included at an additional cost. A full Farmhouse Breakfast costs R220 per person, lunch costs R250 per person, and dinner costs R280 per person for a one-course meal. Bookings for meals are essential as everything is prepared fresh. The guesthouse is pet-friendly and charges a rate of R250 per day per pet for small breed animals. A refundable deposit of R500 is payable upon arrival for keys, remotes, and damages.

Additional guests who visit are required to report to reception upon arrival and pay the full day visitors or overnight fee immediately. Unverified guests linked to a guest may result in the forfeiture of the deposit. The guesthouse reserves the right of admission for all. As it offers a basic family stay, luxury amenities should not be expected, and the ultimate aim is customer satisfaction and country hospitality within an affordable environment. The guesthouse is owner-managed.
