The Gl Cottages

The GL Cottages offer guests a serene and tranquil environment in the midst of Johannesburg's bustling metropolis. They are situated on the Observatory Ridge, which houses several National Monuments, providing a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle and an opportunity for reflection and renewal.

The cottages are located in a beautiful garden with aged trees, lush foliage, fragrant flowers, and winding pathways. Each room is quiet, private, and uniquely designed with its own theme ranging from African to a simple English country cottage. Some units also offer self-catering facilities.

The rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, a telephone, and a TV. While not all rooms have DStv and M-Net, each morning guests are welcomed with a hearty full English breakfast. The facilities include a large swimming pool, a basketball court, a trampoline, and safe and secure on-site parking. Additionally, wireless Internet is available, and laundry services can be provided.

The GL Cottages is an ideal venue for conferences, training workshops, conceptual and think-tank meetings, board meetings, and team-building activities. It offers one large conference room that can accommodate up to 50 delegates, a boardroom for up to 12 delegates, and a smaller conference room for up to 20 delegates. All rooms are attractively appointed, well-equipped, quiet, and conducive to productive work.
