The Golden Grape Bed And Breakfast is situated in the small town of Lutzville, near Vrendendal, in the wine-growing area on the banks of the Olifants River close to the Atlantic Ocean on the West Coast. It offers four comfortable en-suite rooms as well as a two-bedroom self-catering flatlet. The establishment serves as an ideal stopover between Cape Town and Namibia, located just 25 minutes off the N7 and 20 minutes from the Diamond Coast.

For wine enthusiasts, the Olifants Wine Route is a notable attraction. It begins at Seal Breeze Winery, the smallest of the route, where the owner, Mrs. Joan Wiggins, produces unique wines authentically by hand without any machinery. The route then proceeds to Lutzville Vineyards, the second-largest winery in the country, where Lydia welcomes visitors for an unforgettable wine tasting experience. From there, it continues to Keukenhof Winery, approximately 10 km from Lutzville, known for its authentic wine-making techniques.

Not far from The Golden Grape on the Diamond West Coast are the two small popular seaside villages of Strandfontein and Doornbaai, renowned for their South African lobsters or crayfish. During early spring, the area also features world-renowned carpets of wild flowers that stretch as far as the eye can see. Additionally, a 9-hole golf course is located nearby, within 25 km.

The two-bedroom self-catering flatlet accommodates five guests. It features one bedroom with a double bed and another with twin beds. There is also a sleeper couch in the lounge area that can accommodate one guest. The flatlet is equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen and a lounge area.
