The Hidden Valley

The Hidden Valley is located near Hoedspruit in the Limpopo province, Kruger Game Reserve, Panorama Route, and the Blyde River Canyon. It offers two cabins that provide accommodation for travelers, families, couples, or as a base to explore the area. The Blyde River is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful rivers in South Africa.

Surrounded by nature, a wide variety of birds, and small wildlife, The Hidden Valley is an ideal location for birders and bird photographers with four different biomes within easy reach. Impalas, Blue Wildebeest, Zebras, Giraffes, and other game animals may also be spotted, as the property is situated in a wilderness estate.

The Hidden Valley is a self-catering establishment, with cabins equipped with everything needed for guests to cater for themselves. Top-quality breakfast and braai (BBQ) hampers can be ordered in advance when confirming a stay.

The reserve offers self-guided hiking trails and is within easy reach of the Kruger National Park. Hidden among mango and citrus farms next to the Blyde River, it is considered a true hidden gem. The Blyde River is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful rivers in South Africa.

Activities on the reserve include hiking, river fishing, biking, birding, and river tubing. One of the cabins overlooks the river and can accommodate up to three people. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a single bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided. The cabin opens onto a covered stoep with a kitchen equipped with a two-plate stove, a fridge, a microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a dining area for two people. Wi-Fi access and braai facilities are available.
