The Cape Dutch Homestead, built in 1790, has been sensitively refurbished and transformed into an elegant Winelands accommodation, showcasing period furniture, striking art pieces, and luxurious interior decor. The exclusive-use guesthouse features five bedrooms that can accommodate up to 10 guests, offering an intimate and luxurious home-away-from-home experience in the Cape Winelands.

The Homestead features five bedrooms, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms, spread across two floors. The ground floor rooms are equipped with four-poster king-size beds, while the top-floor rooms have queen-size beds. While every effort has been made to celebrate the historic building's past, no detail has been spared in creating a comfortable and luxurious stay for guests. It should be noted that The Homestead can only be booked as a single unit.

Included in the stay are a lavish breakfast, an on-site personal butler/concierge, the services of a private chef, a well-stocked personal bar, a wine tasting experience, and a 10% discount on selected Hazendal experiences. It is important to note that The Homestead can only be booked as a single unit, and those interested should inquire about availability and pricing.

When not occupied by guests, The Homestead is open for day visitors to explore the architecture, period furniture, and art through self-guided tours. Highlights include one of the largest private historic map collections in South Africa, rare 18th-century furniture pieces, and original works by acclaimed artists Vladimir Tretchikoff and Jacobus Hendrik Pierneef. The secluded private garden offers a peaceful retreat.
