The King's Place is a smallholding situated on eight acres of prime agricultural land in the lush seaside valley of Hout Bay. It is surrounded by magnificent gardens with views of the back of Table Mountain, the Constantiaberg, and the renowned Chapman's Peak. The 4-kilometre-long beach is a five-minute drive away, and it is located 10 minutes from the Constantia Wine Route and 20 minutes from Cape Town Central and the V&A Waterfront.

The King's Place is a working farm, featuring a wholesale nursery where a variety of plants are grown in greenhouses and fields. The accommodation on the property is called The Dales, which sleeps eight people. The ground floor comprises a beautiful large kitchen with granite countertops, a center island, and the latest accessories. The dining room can comfortably seat 10 people, and the lounge is equipped with a large LCD TV and satellite (DSTV) viewing. The lounge leads out onto a paved BBQ area overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. There is also a guest toilet and a laundry area on this level.

All four bedrooms are located upstairs. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and both these rooms lead onto a beautiful balcony with breathtaking views of the gardens and mountain. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom has twin beds. There is an additional full bathroom on this level.
