The Library

The Library is a striking double-story home situated between two large Jacaranda trees and an ancient oak tree. It offers spacious and stylish accommodation for up to six adult guests, with three en-suite bedrooms. The design of The Library has been inspired by famous explorers throughout history, as well as the owner's intrepid travels, and is filled with luxury, surprise, and charm.

The upstairs, open-plan living room layout provides expansive views of Franschhoek. The deep floating deck features overstuffed beanbags, and the size of the baths and the fading David Livingstone canvas hiding a flatscreen SmartTV reflect the owner's love of entertaining, travel, and all things quirky and intriguing.

Located just minutes' walk from the village's bustling main road, The Library rests in tranquil and peaceful surroundings in a quiet corner of the village, offering a suitable and relaxing location as a base to explore the valley and region.

The house features three bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has the option of a twin or king-size bed. Both of these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with baths, showers, and double basins. Additionally, there is an outside pool cottage with an additional bedroom that is en-suite with a shower, basin, and toilet. This bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds. All rooms offer under-floor heating and air conditioning.
