The Muize is a family-owned and operated guest house situated in Muizenberg, Cape Town. It is set against the backdrop of the Silvermine Mountains, overlooking the Zandvlei estuary and Muizenberg beaches, providing an ideal "home away from home" for exploring Cape Town's offerings. The house is a newly renovated grand old building from a former era, boasting eight bedrooms, six of which have en-suite bathrooms, and two additional communal bathrooms. The rooms have been artfully refurbished to accommodate travelers and business people.

The Muize offers a "South African" continental breakfast as standard, with the option of a full breakfast menu if desired. The nearby beaches are renowned among surfing and kite-surfing enthusiasts. A short trip to Table Mountain, recently declared one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, provides opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. The lagoons and lakes in the area are renowned bird sanctuaries. Everything in Cape Town is easily accessible from this picturesque location.

Muizenberg is considered the best beach for learning to surf and is a hot spot for kite-surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, and other water activities. Alternatively, visitors can spend a relaxing day soaking up the sun.
