The Old Stone Shed is a converted sheep shearing shed that has been transformed into a self-catering accommodation unit, providing a unique experience for visitors staying in the Karoo region. The shed is constructed from stone and features a reed roof, with electricity available.

The self-catering unit is equipped with the necessary cutlery, bedding, and towels for guests' convenience. The cozy lounge area includes a fireplace, adding warmth and ambiance during the chilly Karoo winters. The bathroom is fitted with a wash basin, a flushing toilet, and a shower with hot water. Additionally, the unit offers an outdoor shower.

Guests are welcome to make fires outside, and wood can be purchased at the nearby farmhouse for R20 per bag. The farmhouse is within walking distance, providing convenient access to any additional needs, as well as a swimming pool where guests can cool off during their stay.
