The Olive Thrush is a cottage that provides a peaceful and tranquil retreat. It is located within a few minutes' walk of the Karoo's beautiful countryside and approximately ten minutes' walk from the picturesque town of Prince Albert. The cottage is beautifully decorated and fully equipped for self-catering, accommodating up to four guests in one bedroom and one bathroom.

The bedroom features one extra-length king-size bed and two extra-length single beds. The bathroom has a large shower and soft, fluffy towels. Guests have the option to shower outside, under the stars, for a more adventurous experience.

The living room has an open-plan layout, incorporating a dining area, kitchen, and a sitting area with a fireplace. The cottage is equipped with air-conditioning, mosquito nets, and mosquito screens on the windows. A laundry service is available for an additional fee.

After a hot summer day, guests can enjoy their sun-downers at the dam, which is shaded by trees, and watch the nest-building weavers while listening to the chatter of birds. The cottage has its own private, secluded, and shady braai/barbeque area, from where one can observe the Karoo stars.
