The Post House is a luxurious boutique hotel located in Greyton, approximately 90 minutes away from Cape Town, in the beautiful Overberg region. It was recently purchased by owners John and Janet Higginson, who are passionate about the hospitality industry. John continues to work in property development and investment out of his offices in Cape Town, while Janet brings her experience as a former model and qualified pastry chef.

With the help of an amazing team, hard work, and late nights, The Post House has undergone an exceptional upgrade. It offers elegantly refurbished rooms, a private garden, pool area, lawns, unparalleled service, and unique experiences. Guests are immersed in the simplicity of country living and pampered with the amenities offered by the 16 rooms, 2 lounges, a coffee pod, an eatery for bespoke functions, a swimming pool, and a pub.

Originally constructed in 1860, The Post House is one of Greyton's oldest buildings. It was previously used as a trading post and a place of lodgings for tired travelers. The main building houses the eatery, new coffee pod, and the pub, which is well-known for the Bells Whiskey advertisement. This area was also Greyton's former Post Office.

Guests can enjoy true luxury in the guest rooms and suites, designed to reflect Greyton's colorful charm and tranquility. The accommodation is equipped with amenities to ensure an experience of absolute comfort, including a prepared tea and coffee tray, kettle, toaster, mini-bar, and basic cutlery and crockery for guests to prepare snacks during the day. The rooms are sold inclusive of breakfast.

The Post House does not accommodate children under the age of 16 unless special arrangements have been made. Intimate weddings for up to 180 guests can be accommodated. The en-suite bedrooms are decorated in a modern country style, and each has its own veranda leading out onto the garden. Room facilities include a mini-kitchenette, air conditioning, WiFi, electric blankets, carpeted floors, safes, and quality linen and towels.
