The Red Barn - The Homestead

The Red Barn - The Homestead is an upmarket accommodation situated in the heart of a farm in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. It offers a blend of old-time charm and modern convenience. The original farmhouse has undergone a facelift, providing a cozy and comfortable stay for guests.

The Homestead can accommodate up to 8 adults in 4 bedrooms, with the option to book it in conjunction with the Chicken Coop, allowing for an additional couple to join. The nightly rate is R500 per person, with minimum rates applicable.

This self-catering unit features a fully equipped kitchen, a braai area, a fire pit, a large covered patio, and a gas pizza oven. The lounge area includes a TV and a large fireplace, ensuring guests remain comfortable during wet and cold weather conditions in Dullstroom.

Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, while the remaining two bedrooms each have two single beds. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of farm life while being just a 20-minute drive away from the charming mountain village of Dullstroom, which offers various amenities and attractions.

The Red Barn Dullstroom also serves as Mpumalanga's favorite farm wedding venue. It can host weddings with 20 to 120 guests and accommodate up to 28 guests on the farm. The venue offers indoor and forest chapel options, gardens in old stone ruins, and a large stretch Bedouin tent.

The Homestead is perfect for families, boasting large bathrooms and a combination of single and queen beds. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge, and a lovely covered patio with a braai and pizza oven leading to a tree-lined garden equipped with a volleyball net.
