The River Wellness & Spa At Zwakala River Retreat is situated on a private farm in the Magoebaskloof / Haenertsburg Mountains, near the banks of the Broederstroom River, which is the source of the Letaba River. It offers accommodation in two-sleeper and four-sleeper cabins, each with a king-size bed or two/four single beds, a cozy lounge with a wood-burning fireplace, an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, and an outdoor galvanized steel and wood bathtub.

The two-sleeper cabins feature a fully-equipped kitchenette and a private deck with a fire pit. The four-sleeper cabins also have a private deck, fire pit, and a full kitchenette. The retreat provides fantastic walking trails and clearly marked cycling routes through forests and private farms in the area, as well as opportunities for trout fishing in the river and surrounding waters.
