The Riverhouse

The Riverhouse is an elegantly restored Cape Dutch bed and breakfast establishment situated in a large garden, featuring a magnificent 20-meter verandah overlooking the Bushman's River in Estcourt. Each spacious room of the property is individually decorated and equipped with private bathroom facilities, DStv television, tea and coffee amenities, heaters, roof fans, and electric blankets.

The establishment offers excellent friendly service in tranquil country surroundings, serving a sumptuous breakfast, with the option of dinner availability upon request. It is conveniently located in close proximity to the central business district of Estcourt, which serves as an ideal stopover point between Johannesburg and Durban. Additionally, Estcourt serves as a gateway to the Drakensberg region, the Battlefields, and the Midlands Meander.

The Riverhouse provides a comfortable and professional home-away-from-home experience for both business travelers and tourists. The accommodation options include three double rooms in the main house overlooking the river, two garden annexes, and a family room capable of accommodating four guests with self-catering facilities. One of the rooms, referred to as the King Room, features a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. All rooms, except for the family room, are equipped with color television (DSTV), a coffee/tea maker, and Wi-Fi access throughout the property.
