The Rose House

The Rose House is located on a 580-hectare farm outside of Fouriesburg. The farm has been renovated to its former glory with the addition of a new vineyard. There are five different cottages on the farm that provide either bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation.

The Garden Cottages feature either queen-size beds or twin beds. The bathrooms are en-suite with baths and showers. The cottages have living rooms equipped with inviting fireplaces for colder days. The Vegetable Garden Fatlet has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. It overlooks the vegetable garden that supplies produce for the cafu00e9 and small farm shop.

The two Barn Units each have two en-suite bedrooms. These units are equipped with fireplaces for the winter months as well as panel heaters. Each unit has a kitchen for self-catering and a dining area where guests can enjoy their meals. The units also feature verandas with braai facilities. Please note that only the Barn units offer self-catering accommodation.

The Rose Hip Cafu00e9 is located in a renovated barn on the farm and offers a light lunch menu from Tuesday to Sunday. This provides an option for guests who prefer not to cook or travel for some meals. As there are no TVs, guests are able to relax and unwind by participating in activities such as walking, cycling, running, or hiking in the surrounding mountains during the daytime.

The two Barn Units each have two en-suite bedrooms, accommodating four guests each. Both units are equipped with fireplaces and panel heaters in the sitting rooms. They have kitchens for self-catering and dining areas. The units also have verandas with braai facilities.
