The Sabie Town House Guest Lodge

The Sabie Town House Guest Lodge is a distinctive home constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning Sabie Gorge. It offers guests a warm personal welcome from the owners, Greg and his family. Many guests who have stayed at the townhouse have commented on the uniqueness of the home and that photographs on the website do not do it justice.

From the verandah, guests can view hyraxes enjoying the early morning sunshine, occasional fish eagles calling, pretty little sunbirds flitting from flower to flower sipping nectar, and they may even be lucky enough to have a hippo wander by. Alternatively, guests can take a short stroll with a bottle of chilled wine across open bushveld at sunset to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below.

The guest lodge offers spacious rooms for guests to relax and feel at home. All rooms have a separate private entrance, and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, as there are family suites available. Wheelchair-friendly and pet-friendly rooms (by arrangement) are also available. Special rates are offered for larger groups.

Breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. The guest lodge offers warm and friendly hospitality, providing a home away from home experience.

The world-famous Greater Kruger National Park, offering a wildlife experience that ranks among the best in Africa, is within a short distance from the guest lodge. Within a 10km radius of Sabie, there is a selection of truly beautiful natural waterfalls, some of which include delightful walks through the forests. There are many picturesque routes to neighboring towns such as White River, Hazyview, and Graskop.

The rooms at the guest lodge include a seating area with a TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. The en-suite bathroom comes with complimentary toiletries. Guests can choose between a king bed or twin beds, and each room sleeps two persons.
