The Solomon

The Solomon Edwardian Guest House is a bed and breakfast and self-catering establishment that provides high-quality accommodation to tourists and business people. It is Quality Assured by AA Travel and graded as Highly Recommended. The Edwardian house, built in 1910, has been tastefully converted into individual guest rooms, each with its own en-suite.

The establishment also features two self-contained Studio Rooms, each with its own private entrance. All rooms are furnished with high-quality fixtures and fittings, including queen-size beds, en-suite, aircon, DSTV (hotel bouquet), and free WiFi. Some rooms have an extra single sofa-bed. Secure car parking is available on the property.

The Solomon Edwardian Guest House offers peaceful sitting areas in the Fountain Garden and on the Bullnose Stoep. At the rear, there is a large tree that provides ample shade for outdoor sitting and dining. The gardens feature several braai stands (guests are required to bring their own wood or charcoal), a dipping pool during the summer months, swings, and a rustic jungle gym for children. The property is surrounded by high walls with electric security fencing at the front and rear.

One of the Studio Rooms features a wooden jungle gym in a secure play area, a queen-size and single bed, a fully equipped self-catering kitchenette, DSTV Hotel Bouquet, free WiFi, an en-suite with a shower, and all necessary linen and towels. It also has secure parking, gardens with a braai area, and a private entrance with steps.
