The Sundowner Guest House

The Sundowner Guesthouse is an accommodation establishment located approximately three kilometers from the new Southern gate to the Addo Elephant National Park and in close proximity to the major game reserves in the Eastern Cape. It offers five fully equipped self-catering facilities boasting spectacular views of the Sundays River and a deck where guests can enjoy sundowners. The Sundays River Valley, where the guesthouse is situated, is home to the famous Addo elephants that once roamed the area freely, as well as extensive citrus orchards that bear fruit throughout the winter and fragrance the air with their blossoms in spring.

The establishment is fully compliant with COVID-19 regulations and has taken extensive measures to ensure readiness for both local and international guests. All guests are required to adhere to COVID-19 compliance protocols. The guesthouse offers fantastic bird viewing opportunities, and the Addo National Park is conveniently located just three kilometers away. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Sundays River from the deck, and there is an enclosed garden and a roof deck spanning 160 square meters on top of the units.

The Sundowner Guesthouse features three rooms with self-catering options and a roof deck overlooking the river. Room 1 includes a double bed, a kitchenette with a fridge, an en-suite bathroom, a TV with DStv, and towels. Room 2 offers similar amenities with a double bed, a kitchenette with a fridge, an en-suite bathroom, a TV with DStv, and towels. Room 3 features two 3/4 beds that can be pushed apart, a kitchenette with a fridge, an en-suite bathroom, a TV with DStv, and towels.
