The View Lodge is a self-catering accommodation located in the Big 5 Mabalingwe Game Reserve, a malaria-free area situated approximately 130 km from Pretoria and 27 km from Bela Bela. It offers breathtaking views of the dam and the surrounding mountains, making it an ideal destination for nature-loving families or couples seeking a romantic getaway.

The lodge features a private boma for outdoor dining and braai (barbecue) under the stars, as well as a private swimming pool for hot summer days. Guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, including hippos from the veranda, lions roaring in the early morning, and the call of the fish eagle. Kudu and warthogs are frequent visitors to the house, while small cats and porcupines may visit at night in search of food.

The accommodation offers daily servicing, allowing guests to relax and unwind without worrying about household chores. Mabalingwe Game Reserve provides a range of activities, including free game drives in guests' own vehicles or guided game drives in the reserve's wildlife vehicles.
