The Walden Suites is a stylish and elegant villa located below Lion's Head, in a quiet and sunny area with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island, and Table Bay. The villa, built in 1923, was named by its first owner after the autobiography novel Walden by the American author Henry David Thoreau. In 2003, the current owner converted the house into a guest house.

The comfortable arrangement emphasizes the special ambience of the house and offers individual requirements for guests, as well as a restful stay in Cape Town. The Walden Suites offers four Sea View Rooms and two Mountain View Rooms, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms. Additional features include a 17-metre swimming pool and terraces to enjoy the sunshine.

The Sea View Rooms accommodate two adults with a king-size bed and a sleeper couch that sleeps an extra child (additional costs may apply for the child). There is also an inter-leading room with an additional single bed that can accommodate one child. The en-suite bathrooms feature a large bathtub and a shower.
