The Wild Blue Lodge Safari & Spa

The Wild Blue Lodge Safari & Spa is a luxury establishment located on an elevated area near the banks of the Olifants River in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve, situated in the Limpopo area of South Africa. It offers a tranquil and beautiful bushveld experience. The Lodge consists of two luxury en-suite bungalows, each with a private deck overlooking the Olifants River and the surrounding bush, as well as one superior en-suite double room with a private deck providing views of the Drakensberg. Additionally, there is an intimate luxury bush tent available for couples, equipped with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and a private lapa and deck.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the rates, and meals are served in the adjacent lapa around an open fire. The Lodge also features a common pool. The Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve is home to a wide range of wild plains game, including wildebeest, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck, nyala, and zebra, among others. Daily activities and Kruger Park tours can be provided at an additional cost. Mountain bikes are available for rent on-site, and the spa is open seven days a week for body treatments.

Guests can escape the hustle and bustle of city life by taking a hike along one of the many bush trails or cycling around the reserve, surrounded by the peace and quiet of nature's beauty. It is important to note that The Wild Blue Lodge is a catered and licensed establishment, and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be consumed on-site. Additionally, a conservancy fee of R100 is required at the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve gate.

In the open bush facility, The Wild Blue Lodge offers full-body massages, and one guided game drive within the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve is included in the rate. Daily activities and Kruger Park tours can be arranged at an additional cost. With a maximum capacity of 8 guests at a time, The Wild Blue Lodge provides an intimate and romantic getaway. The superior en-suite room features a private deck overlooking the Drakensberg. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, coffee and tea-making facilities, a fridge, and a safe.
