The Yard is a property with a farm-style house and buildings, offering a spacious area with a beautiful view of the mountain. The owners of the property are fluent in Afrikaans, English, and German. The property offers different rental units, including The Cottage (Self-Catering), BITS (Bed in the Shed), and The Vine, which is not self-catering. Additionally, there is Katze, a dormitory with an outside bathroom/shower, which is also not self-catering. Each unit has its own separate entrance.

The Cottage is a self-catering unit with two bedrooms and a lovely outside braai area. It features a super king-size bed and a sleeper couch, accommodating up to four people. BITS and Stoepkamer is a one-bedroom unit with an en-suite bathroom, consisting of either two single beds or a double bed.

The Yard offers ample safe parking behind locked gates. Prior arrangement with the host is required when bringing a trailer or pets. The entire facility can accommodate up to 12 people if booked as a whole, but this must be done in advance to ensure availability.

The property is conveniently located in close proximity to beaches, shopping facilities, and approximately 45 minutes away from Cape Town, the Mother City. BITS is a 2-sleeper free-standing unit with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, offering warm, farm-style elegance and rustic decor. It is a room-only accommodation with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and tea/coffee tray. There is an outside braai with a courtyard, and the unit is pet-friendly.
