Thembe Eco Lodge

Thembe Eco Lodge is situated on a hillside overlooking the Kwa-Mazambane Reserve in the northern most region of the Maputaland Wetlands of KwaZulu-Natal. The setting offers a beautiful view over the valley below, and from some of the rooms, guests can see the third and largest lake of Kosibay. The entire lodge features a well-kept lawn and a range of plants that complement the natural surroundings, hence the "eco" in its name.

The lodge caters to fishermen, families, groups, and businessmen seeking relaxation and refocusing. The self-catering units are comfortable and well-designed, offering all necessary linens and utensils. Each unit has a bathroom with a shower, a barbeque area, and a deck where guests can sit and watch the sun rise over the African landscape. The tiled floors provide relief from the sand outside and help maintain a clean and presentable appearance in the rooms.

The open-plan furnished self-catering rooms feature a double bed, ceiling fan, open-plan kitchen with a separated bathroom, and a courtyard with a stunning view and private braai area.
