Thokozani Lodge

Thokozani Lodge, a small country-style thatched guest house, was purchased by a married couple from Germany in 2009, who subsequently emigrated to South Africa. The guest house offers accommodation in charming houses located in a subtropical garden adorned with large, mature trees and palms. It provides a pleasant, private, and family-friendly atmosphere, situated in the heart of the Lowveld region, merely 6 kilometers from White River and a 30-minute drive from the Kruger National Park.

The guest house features rooms and bungalows equipped with single or twin beds. All accommodations are en-suite and furnished with handcrafted wooden furniture in a rustic style. Each bed is fitted with mosquito nets to ensure a peaceful night's sleep, and every room has a separate entrance and a lovely view of the garden. Guests can enjoy their breakfast in the dining room or on the terrace amidst the garden surroundings.

The garden is a haven for a diverse array of bird species, offering guests picturesque views of the White River valley. Visitors can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or relax on deck chairs under a thatched shelter. The property welcomes guests to explore the farm or stroll down to the banks of the White River, observing birds, lizards, mongooses, rock monitors, and water monitors, or simply lounging on the rocks and unwinding. Recreational amenities include a selection of games and a billiard room. Guests can savor a drink on the terrace while witnessing the sunset or gather around the fireplace under the stars, accompanied by the soothing sounds of bush crickets and the calls of the wood owl.
