Timbavati Safari Lodge

The Timbavati Safari Lodge is located 22 kilometers from the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park. The lodge aims to provide guests with comfortable accommodations and a memorable experience characterized by tranquility. Timbavati Safari Lodge offers a selection of chalets and rondavels (traditional round huts) painted with unique Ndebele artwork, each with an en-suite bathroom and equipped with mosquito nets.

The rondavels and chalets are set amidst beautiful shady trees and have been designed and situated to create an atmosphere of relaxation and peacefulness in a true African ambiance. Most rooms feature double or twin beds, with some rooms offering additional third and fourth beds. Some of the chalet rooms are connected through inter-leading doors, allowing families and guests who prefer to stay close to each other to do so.

The Timbavati Safari Lodge is located among glades of mature, exquisite indigenous trees, home to a variety of birds. Guests share the lodge area with local inhabitants, including bush babies, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, bushbucks, duikers, and warthogs, which graze on the lush green grass and can be regularly viewed from the verandahs of the rooms. Guests can observe wildlife from the comfort of their verandahs. The lodge also offers a three-bedroom family unit that can accommodate up to six people.
