Timbila Farmstead

TimBila Farmstead is situated within the TimBila Nature Reserve by Naankuse, approximately 60 kilometers from Omaruru and bordering north of Erindi in Namibia's Erongo Region. This 33,500-hectare reserve is known as "The Home of Second Chances" and focuses on human-wildlife conflict mitigation and conservation efforts.

The reserve features four distinct eco-tourism properties. The TimBila Safari Lodge is perched on the Osera mountain slope, offering panoramic views of the plains below. The Private Villa provides five bedrooms in safari chic style overlooking the Thornbush Savannah. Camp Namibia consists of 12 en-suite self-catering tents and 4 campsites along the Omaruru river, while the Farmstead offers a unique agricultural experience in luxury farm-styled accommodation.

The Farmstead itself can accommodate 12 guests, with an 8-sleeper farmhouse and a 4-sleeper apartment. The air-conditioned farmhouse features four distinctively styled rooms with king-size, twin, or double beds. One room includes an en-suite bathroom, while three share bathroom facilities. The separate apartment contains two rooms with king-size or twin beds and an en-suite bathroom, plus a kitchenette and lounge area.

The property includes various amenities such as a swimming pool, outdoor entertainment area, children's playground, and farm shop. Guests can experience authentic Namibian bushveld braais (barbecues) and participate in conservation activities. The reserve also features a wellness centre with traditional Namibian treatments and a restaurant serving locally-sourced cuisine overlooking the Thornbush Savannahs.
