Tintswalo Family Camp

Tintswalo Family Camp is located in the heart of the Welgevonden Game Reserve, situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The reserve covers an area of 40,000 hectares of unspoiled bushveld and is recognized as one of Southern Africa's largest and most exclusive private game reserves. It holds the distinction of being part of the savanna biosphere reserve, a title awarded by UNESCO in March 2001.

The Welgevonden Game Reserve is home to a diverse array of plains game species, including the revered "Big Five" wildlife: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Visitors can experience an unparalleled safari adventure while being free from the threat of malaria. Tintswalo Family Camp offers open 4x4 safari vehicles equipped with radios for communication, ponchos for wet weather, individual blankets for early morning and evening chill, and spotlights for night viewing. Additionally, the camp features a one-bedroom unit with a lounge and views overlooking the reserve. This unit is connected to the main lodge via meandering pathways and includes a king-sized bed, a full en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, and indoor and outdoor showers.
