Tjailatyd Game Lodge is situated within the boundaries of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, which covers an area of 3,000 hectares in a malaria-free region traversed by a perennial stream and enclosed by a sturdy 2.4 km game fence. The lodge is located within the Pride of Africa Nature Reserve, which is situated 55 km north of Pretoria and accessible via the N1 highway. The area is renowned for its outstanding game and nature reserves. The Pride of Africa Nature Reserve is well-stocked with more than 120 head of game comprising over 20 species roaming the reserve.

Tjailatyd Game Lodge offers visitors an authentic bushveld environment and the opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Africa up-close. The lodge is rented out as a group-only venue, which means that the camp includes the use of the entire venue and all eight rooms. The camp can accommodate a maximum of 16 adults and eight children. Rooms 1 to 4 each sleep a family of four with two single beds and one double sleeper couch per room, while Rooms 5 to 8 each contain twin single beds.

The lodge features a lapa area complete with a swimming pool, boma, and braai area. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary amenities such as a conventional oven, a microwave, deep-freezers and fridges, braai grids, utensils, and ample cutlery and crockery. Visitors can also make use of a cozy lounge area with DStv. Domestic cleaning services are included, and game drives are offered as part of the highlights to make the stay more memorable.

For visitors with an active lifestyle, the lodge provides a jungle gym, sandpit, and volleyball field to explore fitness levels. Children are also welcome to bring their own bicycles. The Pride of Africa Nature Reserve has a vast infrastructure, including more than 60 km of road, making it ideal for mountain bike rides. Nearby attractions include the Carousel and Rust De Winter dam, where visitors can enjoy bass fishing and bird-watching during the day, and return to the tranquility of a campfire in the evenings.
