The Toll Inn Guest Farm features a magnificent six-arch sandstone bridge, which was constructed in 1881 and is now a National Monument. This historic bridge serves as the entrance to the establishment. In the past, the road passed in front of the old Kraai River Hotel and Toll Keeper's House. During those times, heavily loaded wagons carrying goods to the mountain districts of Herschel, Lady Grey, Barkley East, and Rhodes would cross the bridge after spending the night at the old Kraai River Hotel. The complex also included the Toll Keeper's House, stables, and an old shop, all of which are now part of the guest area known as Toll Inn. When visitors cross the bridge, they are stepping into a significant piece of history and the hospitality of bygone years. The Inn offers en suite rooms for guests.
