Toro Yaka Bush Lodge

Toro Yaka Bush Lodge is a unique lodge situated in the pristine bushveld of Balule, a 30,000-hectare nature conservancy located in the Greater Kruger National Park area. The lodge is designed to offer a true bush elegance experience, combining personal service and closeness to nature.

The lodge features four air-conditioned, private en-suite double rooms, ensuring tranquility and comfort at all times. The cuisine served at the lodge is a fusion of European and traditional African dishes, prepared mostly outdoors over an open fire.

Guests can observe animals at the waterhole from the swimming pool deck and the gym. The lodge is surrounded by an abundance of birdlife. Field guides accompany bush activities, and the Olifants River, which flows all year, is home to crocodiles and hippos. The area is known for its scenic splendor, with the northern Drakensberg Mountains visible from most points.

The lodge is conveniently located an hour's drive from two of the main gates to the Kruger National Park. Other attractions in the area include a wildlife rehabilitation center, a cheetah project, and the Hans Merensky Golf Club.

Each room at Toro Yaka Bush Lodge is equipped with an overhead fan, air conditioning, and mosquito nets. The rooms feature beautiful English Colonial decor, all under a thatched roof to ensure luxurious accommodation.
