Tristan's Beach House - Kommetjie

Tristan's Beach House is a freshly decorated beach house located in the village of Kommetjie, situated just down the wooden path from Surf Way on Kommetjie's Long Beach. It offers a relaxed and comfortable holiday home experience. The house features four en-suite bedrooms with fabulous comfy extra-length king-size beds, an open-plan living area, WiFi, and full DSTV. The well-equipped kitchen opens to a stunning entertainment area with a Weber kettle braai.

Kommetjie is known for its carefree living atmosphere, where visitors can enjoy a relaxed start to the day with a stroll on the beach, taking in the views of Chapmans Peak and Hout Bay to the north, or witnessing spectacular sunsets on the rocks below the Slangkop lighthouse. The hosts, Heather and Tristan, are delighted to introduce guests to the joys of their village and assist in planning activities and sightseeing.

The area offers some of the Cape's best surf spots and beautiful hiking trails, including one leading to the top of Slangkop with an accessible lighthouse. Photographers are drawn to the area for its special light quality. Guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to picnic spots and sunset drinks, with a couple of pubs in the village and great restaurants nearby. The house is conveniently located on the sightseeing route, providing easy access to attractions like Cape Point, Boulders penguins, Simonstown, and Kalk Bay.

Tristan's Beach House can be rented on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis, with rates available upon request.
