Troon Beach Cottage

Troon Beach Cottage is situated in a prime position, just 100 meters from the beach, a two-minute walk away. It offers breathtaking sea views, fresh champagne air, and the opportunity for whale watching from the patio (the first whale of the year was spotted on May 1, 2021). Guests can listen to the break of the waves all day and night. The cottage features solar power and an inverter, ensuring no load shedding.

Troon Beach Cottage is just a two-minute walk from the entrance of the famous "Cliff Path," which features spectacular fynbos and stretches along the coastline to The Old Harbour in town. It is a mere three- to five-minute walk from Grotto and Voelklip beaches, including the Walker Bay Grill and Duchees restaurant. The cottage features an architectural designed open-plan indoor/outdoor flow with a built-in braai and stunning patio, offering a luxurious yet holiday-friendly interior.

The cottage has two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, hairdryers, and sliding doors leading to an outdoor area. Linen, bath towels, and beach towels are provided, and the unit also offers a camping cot and high chair for little ones. Adults can enjoy either a queen-size, extra-length, or king-size extra-length bed. The kitchen is ideal for self-catering, and guests can dine at the dining table and chairs. The lounge provides a great place to unwind, with the entire dining, lounge, and patio area opening up with all-round glass sliding doors, allowing guests to enjoy sea views and whale/dolphin watching from the patio lounge.

Troon Beach Cottage has Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and parking on the premises. Hermanus offers guests various sunset walks, restaurants, and places to swim. During whale-watching season, guests can spot whales from the patio. Kite surfing is a popular sport in Hermanus, and the entire area is surrounded by the mountains of the Cape Overberg, as well as hundreds of species of spectacular fynbos.

The Beach cottage is extremely family-friendly, with a garden, security, and safety for kids, yet just a few meters from all the beaches and a few minutes' walk away. The cottage is right on the front beach row, offering spectacular sea views and just a few meters' walk from Voelklip Beach, the Blue Flag Grotto beach, and the famous Cliff Path for hiking and cycling along the coast to the Old Harbour in Hermanus. Guests never need to get into their vehicles, as they can walk everywhere.
