Troutbagger Farm

Troutbagger Farm is a small farm that offers self-catering accommodation in peaceful surroundings. It is an ideal holiday place for avid trout anglers, as it has three still-water dams stocked with rainbow and brown trout.

The farm provides three cottages and two double bedrooms for accommodation. All units are fully equipped for self-catering, and cutlery and crockery are provided. The views from the units stretch over the dam and countryside, offering complete privacy. Each unit also has braai facilities.

Fishing at Troutbagger Farm is primarily offered on a catch-and-release basis. Rod fees are applicable, and day visitors are welcome. The farm sells flies, and guides are available for coaching at an additional fee. The fee for trout/bass fishing is R200 per angler per day or part thereof.

Troutbagger Farm offers family-suited cottages and double rooms overlooking trout/bass dams. The accommodations provide views of mountains and dams, making it suitable for a family weekend getaway. The farm is located close to Nottingham Road and the Midlands Meander.

One of the cottages has three bedrooms, with one room featuring a double bed and the other two bedrooms having two single beds each. The cottage has two full bathrooms, a lounge, a dining room, and a kitchen. The lounge has a fireplace, and there is an outside patio with a braai area. Safe parking is available on the premises.
