Tshima Bush Camp is an intimate safari destination situated on 30 hectares of natural bush with direct access to the Nhabe River, located just 25 minutes from Maun, Botswana's iconic safari town. The camp serves as an ideal base for exploring the world-famous Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi Pans, and Nxai Pan National Park.
The accommodation consists of luxurious Meru-style tents, strategically positioned within the original bush vegetation to ensure maximum privacy. Each tent features comfortable beds, sleeper couches, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in hot water showers. Guests can enjoy their private outdoor area surrounding each tent, perfect for nature observation and relaxation.
The camp offers a comprehensive dining experience, with picnic-style breakfasts served privately at each tent, and three-course dinners served in the garden under the stars after evening drinks at the fireplace. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot various animals including duiker, aardvark, and numerous bird species on the property, with occasional elephant visits and resident hippos in the river.
Tshima Bush Camp maintains a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, operating entirely on solar energy with water recycling and purification systems in place. The camp offers various activities including day trips to nearby natural attractions, featuring game drives and traditional Mokoro canoe experiences in the Delta. It serves as both an excellent stopover point for travelers moving between Namibia and the Delta, and as a peaceful finale to a Botswana safari experience.
