Tsikili Forest Lodge

The Tsikili Forest Lodge is a lodging establishment that offers clean and comfortable accommodation in Kokstad, a small town located on the border between KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa. It is situated in the heart of East Griqualand, an area renowned for its rivers and dams, which provide opportunities for trout fishing. Crystal Dam, in particular, is a popular destination for boating and angling activities.

As its name suggests, the lodge's yard is surrounded by a diverse range of plants and trees. The accommodation consists of en-suite rooms, each equipped with built-in cupboards, a refrigerator, a microwave, and satellite television. Upon request, guests can also receive cutlery and crockery for their convenience.

The lodge is located near several attractions, including the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park, known for its numerous hiking trails and rock art sites; the Mount Currie Nature Reserve, which offers lovely picnic spots; and the Mountain Lake Nature Reserve, a haven for birdwatchers with plenty of wonderful walks and an absolute bird-lover's paradise.
