Tsitsikamma Lodge

Tsitsikamma Lodge is situated along the N2 highway in the heart of the Tsitsikamma region, which is part of the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The nearest town to the lodge is Storms River Village.

The lodge offers cosy, freestanding log cabins that provide a sanctuary in a peaceful, forest-like setting. Each cabin is equipped with a spa bath, and guests have access to private braai facilities. Cutlery, crockery, and braai packs can be arranged in advance. The cabin sizes vary to accommodate couples and families. The lodge has honeymoon cabins with fireplaces, cosy gardenette cabins for romantic couple getaways, and larger luxury and garden cabins suitable for families.

The lodge features a restaurant and a lapa, which can serve as a beautiful venue for small weddings or other special events. The dining experience at Tsitsikamma Lodge is generous and homely. Other amenities include a swimming pool, a spa, and a conference room that can accommodate small to medium-sized groups.

Tsitsikamma Lodge is known for the Striptease Hiking Trail, an advanced hiking trail where hikers may lose a clothing item or two. For those preferring lighter exercise, the lodge offers quiet walks in the gardens. The wider Tsitsikamma region is a hub for various activities, including ziplining in the treetops, walking on the suspension bridge in the Tsitsikamma National Park, and visiting nature parks like Birds of Eden and Monkeyland. The famous "Big Tree" is located a short distance from the lodge.

The lodge also offers an entertainment room with a pool table and a table tennis table, as well as a swimming pool. The spacious cabins are ideal for families or groups, with a downstairs space featuring a single and double bed, and a loft area with twin beds for children. Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a ceiling fan. Guests can enjoy a braai on the private deck while appreciating the surrounding area's views.
