Tubular Swells is a relaxed, self-catering three-bedroom guesthouse located in Scarborough, on the spectacular coastline of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa, overlooking the endless beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. It is situated on a terraced hillside, amidst a peaceful garden, creating a restful ambiance.

The guesthouse aims to provide an experience of the relaxed lifestyle reminiscent of the time when Scarborough was an artist colony and hideaway. The facebrick architecture, set below the towering hillsides, offers framing views of the blue Atlantic and invites guests to linger and slow their pace to that of a less hurried era. This feeling is reinforced by the secluded patio where guests can take their breakfast or afternoon sundowners.

In addition to the main guesthouse, which comfortably accommodates six people, there is a self-contained studio with a separate entrance that can accommodate three people. Tubular Swells has been custom designed and built, with tastefully furnished and decorated interiors. The comfort and relaxation of guests are well catered for, and top-quality amenities and facilities are provided to ensure a truly unforgettable stay, encouraging guests to return again and again.

The guesthouse features a fully-equipped outside entertainment area that includes a built-in braai. Guests can relax in comfortable, stylish surroundings while preparing their favorite meals or cocktails in the fully-equipped, self-catering kitchen. They can also enjoy breakfast or a romantic candlelight dinner in the warmth of the teak railway sleeper dining room, with a picture-perfect view of the Atlantic framed by a large window.

Whether guests' passion for the outdoors includes fishing, diving, hiking, cycling, swimming, or other water sports like surfing, windsurfing, and kite boarding, they are sure to find these activities and much more within walking distance.

The house has three bedrooms with two double beds and one bedroom with bunk beds for children. There are two full bathrooms, and the unit can accommodate up to six people.
