Tulbagh Mountain Cabin

The Tulbagh Mountain Cabin is a self-catering wooden chalet located on a private farm situated in the Tulbagh Wine Valley and at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains. It is a 15-minute drive from the towns of Tulbagh, Wolseley, and Ceres, and offers access to an array of outdoor activities.

The cabin consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is located on the first floor area and is furnished with a queen-size bed, as well as an en-suite shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and is equipped with two single beds. The open-plan lounge and kitchen area contains a fridge, a microwave, and an oven with a stove.

The lounge area leads out onto a stunning wraparound terrace that offers uninterrupted views over the valley below, where visitors can observe Springbok grazing, and also of the stunning mountains. Adjacent to the cabin is a wonderful BBQ area for private use, and there is also a fire pit and lounge area located down the footpath for guests to enjoy. A small river runs past the cabin, providing a sense of peace and tranquility.

The farm also hosts occasional Springbok and Rooihartebees, which can be seen from the terrace. Additionally, the Witzenberg area has a function venue with an outdoor swimming pool, should guests wish to go for a swim.

Please note that a R250 cleaning fee is payable upon check-in/check-out, and a refundable breakage deposit is required, which will be fully refunded within three days after check-out, minus any damages or breakages.
