Tween Trees

Tween Trees is situated on a citrus farm, located 1 km from Patensie on the route to Baviaanskloof. It offers a beautiful flatlet set in a large and quiet garden. The unit is fully equipped and can accommodate four guests comfortably. During their stay, guests can hike along the river, wander through the beautiful citrus orchards, engage in horse riding, birdwatching, make use of the braai facilities, and enjoy the swimming pool. All meals are available upon request.

Patensie is a small town in the Gamtoos Valley, situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, serving as the gateway to Baviaanskloof. Known as the pantry of the Eastern Cape, towns like Loerie, Hankey, and Patensie form the backbone of the Gamtoos Valley. This fertile valley, with its interesting history, is the gateway to the vast, brooding mountainous Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area. Visiting Patensie's citrus pack-house provides an insight into the extent of the citrus industry in the valley. In addition to oranges, the valley features an extraordinary variety of farm produce, including potatoes, tobacco, and vegetables. The area also offers picturesque veld scenes, mountains, indigenous forests with crystal-clear mountain streams fringed with ferns, sheer cliffs, and small waterfalls, enchanting every visitor to this wilderness paradise.

The unit at Tween Trees is comfortably furnished with a double bed and two single beds. Breakfast is available at an additional rate of R60 per person.
