Ugebezi Explorer Camp

Moditlo Private Game Reserve, Limpopo Province

The Ugebezi Explorer Camp derives its name from the Nguni word meaning "skull." Several years ago, the land where the camp is situated was home to the discovery of civilizations from an ancient era. An early human skull was found in close proximity to a prominent waterhole, located a short distance away from the camp. The camp focuses on offering walking safaris, specifically to explore the rich history that the surrounding wilderness area provides.

At Ugebezi Explorer Camp, the walking safaris aim to retrace not only the footsteps of early humans but also those of various animal species found on the reserve, ranging from the famous Big 5 to smaller species like aardvarks and honey badgers. The intimate nature of a walking safari is intended to reconnect individuals with the essence of Africa, enabling them to fall into rhythm with this connection, heighten their awareness of all their senses, and attune themselves with nature.

The camp's safari tents are equipped with two twin beds that can be combined into a king bed if required. Furthermore, each tent features a private bathroom and toilet located behind the tent.
