Umkomaas Lodge

Umkomaas Lodge is situated on the beachfront alongside the well-known Aliwal Shoal. It is located on the beach, just a short distance away from the Umkomaas river mouth. The lodge offers scuba diving opportunities, accommodation, and various recreational activities.

Each room at the lodge is equipped with essential amenities, including clean linen and tea and coffee-making facilities. Accommodation options range from basic backpacker rooms with a shared bathroom to en-suite sea-facing rooms with fridges and DStv. The lodge also features an impressive braai area on the deck.

Umkomaas Lodge is situated directly on the beach, with a tidal pool in front of it. There are splash pools among the rocks, and a swimming beach is located nearby. Backpacker accommodations with en-suite facilities are available, including street-facing rooms with double beds and no air conditioning.
