Umtamvuna View Self Catering Cabanas is situated in a secluded cul-de-sac in a rural setting. It overlooks panoramic views of the Umtamvuna Gorge valley, picturesque mountains, and a glimpse of the river that divides Kwa Zulu Natal from the Transkei and Eastern Cape. The location provides a feeling of tranquility and remoteness, yet it is within easy commuting distance to Port Edward town, shops, beach, and the Wild Coast Casino, as well as other well-known local attractions.

Umtamvuna View Cabanas is located in the small holiday town of Port Edward on the Kwa Zulu Natal South coast, approximately 2 hours drive from Durban and 2 and a half hours from Durban Airport. It offers stunning views of the River, Mountains, and a slight sea view. Guests can enjoy a drink at the pool area and take in the beauty of the surrounding area. The birdlife and adjoining Nature reserve add to the peaceful and relaxing environment.

The property offers Self-Catering accommodation, incorporating 5 luxury Cabanas. Each Cabana includes a stove, 4-plate electrical cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and a well-equipped kitchen with utensils and crockery. There is a large lounge suite, 40-inch flat-screen TV, and a satellite decoder with limited channels. Each Cabana has a Queen bed, and all linen and towels are included. Security doors are fitted to all windows and sliding doors. Each Cabana has its own patio overlooking a large communal pool and the amazing views of the mountains.

For romantic getaways, such as anniversaries, birthdays, or any celebration, special requests can be made in advance, and the staff will do their best to source the requested items at an additional cost. Several golf courses are situated in the lower south Coast area, including Port Edward, Wild Coast Sun, San Lameer, SouthBroom, and Margate golf courses, which are nearby.

Currently, there are 4 Cabanas available, with 2 Cabanas suitable for families with 2 children under the age of 15 (Cabana 3 and Cabana 4). The property is approximately 8 kilometers from the main Port Edward beach. Cabana 5 offers some of the best views on the Lower South Coast from the comfort of the luxurious Cabana or veranda, and it sleeps 2 adults sharing only.
