Underhill Farm is a 100% upcycled eco-friendly and pet-friendly guest farm located in the Overberg region, located between the Botrivier and Twaalfontein streams. It is situated less than 100 kilometers from Cape Town, making it an ideal mid-week or weekend getaway for those seeking to escape from civilization.

The farm is situated along the Van Der Stel Pass, which is popular for cycling and hiking activities. Nearby towns such as Franschhoek, Hermanus, and Botrivier are all within a 40-minute drive from the farm, offering opportunities for wine tasting, fine dining, outdoor adventures, and shopping.

There are three rentable properties on the farm: Rivendell cottage (sleeps 4), Hobbit Hollow (sleeps 4), and Oak cottage (sleeps 2). Rivendell cottage, perched on the edge of the Twaalfontein stream, features two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. It has a stoep with an enclosed braai area, ample eating and seating areas, a small plunge pool, a large securely enclosed garden, and a private pathway leading to a brick patio with a fire pit next to the river.

Hobbit Hollow is located on the opposite side of the farm, set into the bank of the Botriver. It has two bedrooms, a shared bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. The outside area is terraced down to the river, with a covered eating area and an open braai next to a private rock pool. There is also an enclosed shaded garden for dogs to roam, along with a chill area under the poplar forest canopy.

Oak cottage is the tree house of the farm, featuring a large enclosed garden and a big pool leading to the cottage itself. The cottage has picture windows overlooking the views, a bedroom with a river view, a lounge, and a kitchen leading to a deck suspended over the Botrivier, providing a shaded area for braais and privacy.

The Earthship is the largest cottage on the farm, with three en-suite extra-large bedrooms, a large kitchen/lounge area, and an enclosed stoep. The Earthship is embedded in the ground with a grass roof to keep it cool in summer and warm in winter.
