Vale2Vaal

Vale2Vaal is a self-catering guest house situated on private property approximately 20 kilometres outside Parys on the Vaal Eden gravel road. It is equipped with a borehole water supply and a generator. The guest house leads onto rolling green lawns that extend to the Vaal riverbank, which is located just 50 metres away. It provides an ideal setting for fishing enthusiasts to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Outdoor tables and chairs are scattered throughout the garden, and a boma area is available for late-night gatherings around the fire. Canoes and paddle skis are available for guest use at their own risk, and flotation devices are provided.

The guest house can accommodate up to 18 guests comfortably, with a maximum capacity of 18. It features three suites, each with two inter-leading bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The suites are located on the upper level and offer fantastic views of the river. Each master bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom in each suite has two single beds. Additional sleeping accommodation is provided in the form of sleeper couches and bunk beds. The guest house is rented out as an entire unit, making it ideal for families or groups of friends seeking exclusivity.

The lower level of the guest house features a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge area, and a TV with a full DStv bouquet. Free Wi-Fi is also available. The patio area includes gas and charcoal braai facilities, a large dining table, and a gas patio heater for colder evenings. Additionally, there is an entertainment area with a cosy self-service bar and a heated splash pool available for use free of charge from September 1 to April 30.

The owners reside on the property, but the guest house is a separate building. The property features a duck pond with several ducks, geese, a black swan, and peacocks. Other farm animals on the premises include rabbits, donkeys, two small wild pigs, and laying chickens that provide fresh eggs daily for the family, staff, and guests.
