Ver-Weg Self-Catering Cottage is a traditional seaside cottage located in Brenton-on-Sea along the Garden Route. It is one of the original Brenton on sea cottages that has been refurbished and comes equipped with modern conveniences. The cottage is fully serviced, and linen and towels are provided.

The cottage offers one of the best views of the ocean, with the waves rolling out on Brenton-on-sea beach and the bay. It comfortably accommodates up to 10 persons in five bedrooms, three of which have double beds, and two with a total of four single beds, providing a total of seven beds (three double beds and four single beds). There are three bathrooms in the cottage.

The bathrooms and kitchens have been newly renovated. The seating area is equipped with a TV, a DVD player, a CD player, and DStv with PVR and unlimited high-speed WiFi. The well-equipped kitchen features granite tops, a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffeemaker, toaster, and a purified water system. For added convenience, there is a second kitchen next to the braai area, along with beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a cooler box, beach balls, and other beach equipment/toys. The cottage also provides free uncapped Wi-Fi.

Outside, guests will find five parking bays and a private garden with abundant bird life. There is a shaded and sheltered braai area with outdoor seating, and the balcony offers panoramic views of the ocean and Buffelsbay. Brenton on sea is famous for its stunning sunsets and its 6-kilometer beach walk to Buffelsbay. The beach is a blue flag beach, and it also has a scenic walk along the rocky coast from Jaapse baai towards the Knysna Heads. Guests enjoy cycling on the beach to Buffelsbay at low tide.

Brenton on sea is centrally located in the Garden Route, making it an ideal base to explore the area. The famous Knysna forest and lagoon are a short drive away, and the area is well-known for its golf courses, such as Pezula, Simola, and Fancourt in George. The cottage is a short walk from the beach, where guests can soak up the sun and enjoy the surf. It is also about a two-minute drive from the Brenton Blue Butterfly Reserve. Whales visit from June to November, and dolphins swim in the bay year-round.
