Villa Du Sud Guest Lodge

Villa Du Sud Guest Lodge is situated at the foot of the Helderberg, adjacent to the Helderberg Nature Reserve in Somerset West. The enchanting guest house provides an ideal base for exploring the many sights of the Cape. It is surrounded by vineyards and shady pine forests, creating a paradise-like setting for guests.

Villa du Sud is a charming home that is tastefully furnished, offering guests a choice of staying in one of nine rooms, which include Luxury Rooms, Premium Rooms, or Room 8. All the rooms are equipped with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, and they have en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers or showers only. Each room also features a TV, minibar, and Internet access, and a laundry service is available.

Some of the rooms have terraces or balconies that overlook the gardens or provide views of False Bay in the distance. Guests can enjoy sumptuous breakfasts every morning and spend the day relaxing in the cozy lounge or around the two swimming pools, one of which is heated. It is important to note that the pools are not secure for children. Additionally, there is a golf room for storing golfing equipment until the next day, and ample parking is provided.

Guests can indulge in wine tasting at Vergelegen, which is just 3 km away, go hiking and see the king protea in the Helderberg Nature Reserve, play a round of golf, or relax on the beaches of Gordons Bay and Strand, which are just 10 minutes away.

The Luxury Rooms consist of one bedroom, furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower or a shower only, air-conditioning, a TV, bar fridge, and Internet access. The rooms overlook the gardens and offer lovely views towards False Bay.
