Villa Marine Guest House

The Villa Marine Guest House is an eco-friendly establishment located in Pringle Bay, a picturesque coastal village situated in the heart of a UNESCO World Nature Reserve, approximately 55 minutes' drive from Cape Town International Airport along the winding coastal road towards the Overberg. It is uniquely positioned on the rocky edge of the sea, below Hangklip Mountain, offering a rare proximity to the ocean and warm hospitality.

The guest house utilizes solar electricity and is owned and managed by Eben and Susan Cloete. It is renowned for the wonderful traditional food prepared by Susan and chef Ghanzi. The establishment offers an exclusive position, with all en-suite units beautifully decorated with special attention to detail and comfort.

Villa Marine Guest House features five en-suite guest suites of varying sizes and decor, with three units boasting their own fireplace and private balcony. All rooms enjoy magnificent views overlooking a secluded marine cove and surrounding mountains. The rooms are equipped with underfloor heating, mini lounges with satellite television, stocked bar fridges, tea trays, unique bathrooms with double showers, large bathtubs, heated towel rails, and underfloor heating.

Guests can experience the sea with all their senses at this special venue. Viewing the spectacular sunset from the deck over the rim-flow swimming pool while sipping a glass of Cape wine is a great start to an evening spent dining at the Villa or visiting one of the local venues. Guests can fall asleep in cozy percale linen beds with the sounds of waves crashing against the rocks in the bay. Pringle Bay is an ideal destination for romantic breaks and nature lovers, serving as the perfect base from which to explore the rich and diverse mountain landscape of the Western Cape.

The establishment offers three Jacuzzi Suites, each with its own Jacuzzi spa bath. Additionally, Villa Marine enjoys a unique position 50 meters away from the water's edge on a rocky coastline. The Classic Room features a double bed, occasional chairs creating a seating space, and a full view of the ocean, as well as a spacious bathroom, minibar, and balcony.
